Spaniard brings soft drink to the bush

Spaniard Alejandro (Andrew) Poncio Torrent arrived in Morawa in the mid 1950s, bringing a taste of Europe to the Mid West farming township. But he was known for his “stubborn nature” and persisted in building the roadhouse where it continues to stand today.
