A belle made from local clay

Clarence Fulwood settled in Corrigin in 1922 and bought 1,000 acres of uncleared land. He married Dorothy Violet Anderson in 1927. This figurine, handcrafted by Dorothy, was made from locally sourced ‘dam clay’ from Fulwood Farm. It was donated to the collection by Vivien Fulwood.

Hats, hats, hats

In the 1920s hats were in vogue. Everyone wore them and no fashionable wardrobe was complete without at least one hat. These wonderful hats were donated by local ladies from the Corrigin community.
