Gamble all electric incubator

Equipment
A defunct emu farm

This is an egg incubator used at an emu farm on Mt. Gibson Station. The emu farm opened in the 1990s and had its own emu abattoir. Like many species of birds, emus have a short season for laying and incubating their eggs. Ultimately, the farm was unprofitable, and Mt. Gibson Station is now owned by the Australian Wildlife Conservancy.
