This painting depicts a weitj (emu) by a waterhole. It is not known which waterhole, but there is a place called Wedgecarrup, located near Wagin. Wedgecarrup means water like place of the emu. The artist Athol (Moordipa) Farmer was strongly influenced by the Carrolup School of Art style.
