1966 Chrysler Valiant Wayfarer VC utility
Aussie ute
The utility or 'ute' is an Australian invention, designed to carry the working load in the week, yet still functional for use on the weekend. This Valiant ute was used by Wally of Never Never Tours in the 1986 film, Crocodile Dundee. Wally was Mick ‘Crocodile’ Dundee’s business partner. Mick (played by Paul Hogan), was the bush bloke with a sense of humour, who could wrestle crocodiles. The ute was found in a scrap yard in Darwin and was eventually restored. It features signatures by Paul Hogan (star and co-scriptwriter), John Cornell (co-scriptwriter) and John Meillon (co-star).
