A day at the river

This boat shed was built in 1921 and once stood at Saggers Pool on the Gordon River. Tambellup used to regularly host sailing and swmming regattas on the river. In the early 1900s special trains from Katanning brought the large number of spectators to Tambellup, for a social outing.
