Collaborate II; facilitated by Bridget Baldock
Art as therapy
When emerging Mid West artist Bridget Baldock visited Carnamah in 2020 she welcomed local youngsters to join her in a brush-making workshop. Together they collaborated on this piece, which Baldock describes as “fluid, meaning it can be presented in an endless amount of ways and never repeated.” Baldock’s passion for art is not just about a beautiful end product but about how creativity can help as mental health therapy. “I find the processes in which an artist takes to create their piece is just as, if not more, beautiful than the final work,” she said.
