Hot pink lace ensemble

Chapman Valley local Pam Batten wore this striking hot pink lace ensemble as a 22 year-old strutting her stuff at the Army Ball at Ascot in 1972. Her mother handmade the outfit especially for the occasion. It was a memorable night out for the then young mother of one. “I felt pretty special wearing it,” she laughs today.
