Beverley Station Arts - Gallery & Platform Theatre

The heart of Beverley’s art community

A delightful gallery in an old railway station. This small collection hides treasures from prolific painters. The gallery is home to the Shire of Beverley Art Collection, which started with a Claude Hotchin bequest of 14 paintings. As a result of the bequest, in 1967 it was agreed that Beverley would present an exhibition annually and increase the collection each year by purchasing new works. A great time to visit is during the Beverley Art Prize and Easter Art Exhibition. Station Arts has an Artist in Residence program, which includes workshops and exhibitions. If you are lucky, you can see an artist working away in the studio in the old station master's residence. The building itself and grounds are also a wonderful place to relax.
