This gypsum crystal is small in comparison to the ‘crystals of Kalannie’ on display at the Centre. Gypsum is used in everyday products such as toothpaste and shampoo. The Shire of Dalwallinu has large deposits of gypsum in dunes or beds in Lake Goorly, Lake Hamilton and Lake Moore.
