Oil lamp

A round flame burner with a flame spreader was known as a ‘Matador’ burner or lamp. They were popular in Europe at the turn of the 20th century. These types of lamps used oil or kerosene. The most popular Matador lamps were manufactured from 1895 by Berlin firm Ehrich & Graetz.
