Glazed mallee

The sand mallet grows throughout sandy and arid regions of Western Australia. These shiny tan mallees have pendulous lime-yellow lantern flower heads. They are widespread in the Wheatbelt from Carnamah to Pingrup and east beyond Mukinbudin.
