Ceramic Jug
Narrogin Pottery Company
This is an original piece of pottery from the Narrogin Pottery Company, which only lasted one year from 1924 to 1925. The kiln was incorrectly built, and the pottery never fired correctly. The company was started by John Barker, who was renowned for the ‘Alexandra Rose’ design. John Barker went on to become a renowned painter and some of his works are on display in the Old Courthouse Museum.
