Wati Kutjarra (two men of the dreamtime) by multiple artists
This painting tells the story of Wadi Katjurra - of two dreamtime men walking through Country, depicted as two sets of footprints. The work was first started on the red dust of Ululla Station (an Aboriginal community approximately 75 kms southwest of Wiluna) as part of a Central West TAFE project. The painting involved over 20 artists from different family groups in four locations and took over 3 months to complete. Artists that worked on the painting included, Sheila and Barney Jones, Sadie Jackman, Daniel Dale, Glenys Williams, Annette Williams, Elaine Williams, Rhonda Williams, Trisha Williams, Tina Williams, Joanne Bingham, Glen Bingham, Phillipa Wingo, Priscilla Bingham, Laurel Stewart, Vani Tulevu, Renay Jackman and Selina Richards.
