Blue blood

This is a replica of the 1905 Melbourne Cup won by the stallion Blue Spec, who was the first Western Australian horse to win a Melbourne Cup. He also won the Kalgoorlie, Perth and Moonee Valley Cups. In 2012, Blue Spec was inducted into the Western Australian Racing Industry Hall of Fame. Blue Spec was foaled by True Blue (stallion) and Specula (mare) and went on to sire two winners, Blue Rain and Semi Blue.
