From 1903, until its rebranding as Wesfarmers, Dalgety & Co Ltd was the Bunnings of country Australia. Their annual catalogue sold everything from clothes, to furniture, tools, farming supplies, household wares, clothing, and fabrics. The Dalgety man was the bush salesman, who worked his charm on his customers to ensure their needs were met and their desires fulfilled and profits maintained.
