Agricultural School Honour Roll
Gnowangerup Agriculture School
The Honour Roll highlights the high achievers from the Gnowangerup Agricultural School. The collection has items from the school, which operated between 1966 and 2005. Children deemed in need of assistance were placed at the Agriculture School by child welfare authorities. The school was located on the old Gnowangerup Mission site which housed Aboriginal children. Prior to 1972 all Aboriginal children were deemed 'wards of the state' under the guardianship of the government.
