Swinging Chair
Imagine sitting in this chair on the front verandah of the farmhouse, gently swinging as you watch the sun go down after a day of hard sheep work. Made from metal, leather and wood, this swinging chair is another example of the resourcefulness and ingenuity that can be found in many local history collections. It was made in 1916 by T. Frost, whose family continues to farm in the area and whose descendants contributed to the district’s progress over many decades through their involvement on the Roads Board and Shire Council.
