The revered churches and buildings of famed architect-priest Monsignor John Hawes, began as a dream brought to life with pencil, paper and tools like this T-square. During his time in Mullewa, Hawes would have used the tool to design buildings like the priest house and the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. While in Mullewa, Hawes not only designed the buildings but rolled up his sleeves to build them.
