Goldfields War Museum

Wartime memories

Housed inside the historic Boulder Town Hall, the Goldfields War Museum's intriguing collection tells the story of local people fighting on the frontlines and homefront during times of conflict. Visitors will immerse themselves in over one hundred years of military history, spanning from the colonial period, World Wars, mid-20th century conflicts and more recent operations. Unique objects made and souvenired by servicemen and women take pride of place alongside wartime ephemera, collections of medals and honour rolls. A feature of the Museum is a sobering collection of 200 photographs of Goldfields men who were killed in action during the First World War. Requests for information are enthusiastically received: contact the museum via the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
