1925 Buick

Vehicle

This beautifully restored car was bought in 1925 by local farmer Edwin Travena. He wanted a vehicle with enough power to get up the local hills without having to reverse up, and the Buick was his choice. The car continued to be a regular sight in the Donnybrook area for many decades until it was retired and rested in a barn. Rescued and restored by the South West Veteran Car Club, it now has pride of place in the Donnybrook Museum.
