Dance Menu

The dance was the highlight of the week. Local halls would come alive with the music played by local bands which, in Donnybrook, included a piano, drums, saxophone and piano accordion. Within the local area, the halls at Newlands, Kirup, Noggerup, Balingup, and Dingup all had dances. Most people rode a bicycle to the dance, as it would have been rare in those days to have a car.
