Holmes à Court Gallery at Vasse Felix

Vasse Felix excels in delivering a high-quality experience of art and wine. The Holmes à Court Gallery @ Vasse Felix is situated at Vasse Felix, Cowaramup, near Margaret River in the State's south-west. The Janet Holmes à Court Collection has developed over six decades to become an internationally renowned collection of Australian and particularly Western Australian art. This private collection is regularly shared with the public through loans to exhibitions and through curated exhibitions which are shown at the Gallery at Vasse Felix and at the Holmes à Court Gallery @ no.10, located in the heart of The Pickle District in West Perth. As you make your way past the Cellar Door to the Gallery, make sure you say hello to ‘Big Red’, the bronze sculpture of a relaxed kangaroo by Bodo Muche. A visit to this Gallery is an opportunity to view changing exhibitions of exceptional art by Australian artists. As well as changing exhibitions in the Gallery, works from the Collection can be found throughout the building and in the gardens. The spacious gallery was once where the wine was made. Looking up to the ceiling you can see the metal walkway once used by the winemakers. The Wine Vault is another fascinating part of a visit to Vasse Felix.
