Pemberton Pioneer Museum

Originally known as Big Brook, the town of Pemberton began as the site of a saw-mill built in 1912. This Museum tells the history of the timber industry in the local forests through its interesting displays of tools, photographs and documents. The Group Settler experience is brought to life in the whitewashed canvas Group Settler cottage. While you are here, stop and reflect on how difficult it would have been to have lived through winter in one of these humble shelters.
