Shell Roosters

These quirky shell roosters are among the incredibly varied collection of domestic artefacts which Bindoon couple John and Toppy Dickerson donated to Bindoon and Districts Historical Society. Toppy in particular was an avid collector, trawling through garage sales, antique stores and rubbish collections on an endless search for treasures like these ones. Associated tongue-in-check signage claims the prototype has serious potential, with suggested refinements including an inbuilt gin dispenser!
