Birdwood Military Museum

The men behind the medals

The Geraldton RSL Birdwood House features a collection of military artefacts within the Birdwood Military Museum. The items reveal something of the men behind the medals and the characters behind the lists of soldiers' names. You’ll discover everything from letters penned to loved ones from war zones and artworks fashioned from discarded artillery, to uniforms, weapons and medals. Time your visit for when the bar is open and you might also have the chance to share a beer and a yarn with a local war veteran.

Address:

Corner Forrest St & Chapman Rd
