An original hospital bed.

This is one of the original hospital beds. The hospital originally contained a men’s and women’s ward, a kitchen, matron’s office and nursing accommodation on the first floor. Due to overcrowding, the veranda was enclosed to create extra space for beds and an operating theatre.
