Timber Treasure

A worker on the Jarrahdale timber mill carved this jarrah desk set while working in the mill workforce. It was later presented to mill manager Tom Lineham to celebrate his 10 years at the helm of Jarrahdale’s timber mill. He must have treasured the desk set as he kept it with him for the rest of his life. Notice the inkwells made of copper pipe, the raised stand at the rear adorned with carved swans and the finely carved fans and edging.
