A local history archive in an old hospital

Walk through this old converted hospital, which houses an extensive array of local history items. The maze of rooms include themes and include a 'telephone room' with items from the old telegraph exchange, a replica 'settlers hut', a sports room and dining room. The collection delves into the hospital's history with a permanent room, set up like a hospital ward. Out behind the building is a collection of machinery, including a Stuart Tank. The Museum also includes an extensive local history archive, well maintained and catalogued by volunteers.
