Goods Train

Train
Last train standing

A relic of the not-too-distant past when luggers lined Beadon Bay and State ships brought essentials to town and picked up local exports, this train was the lifeblood of the town. Travelling between Onslow’s ‘old jetty’ to the Goods Shed in the middle of town, the train brought in all the essential supplies, and delivered wool and pearl shell for export. This is the only surviving train of all the northern ports of Cossack, Port Hedland and Broome.
