Handmade Model Soldiers

Each soldier in this incredible collection took up to 50 days to make. There are 315 model soldiers here which means many many hours over many many years. These were all made by one person, Reg Copeman. Reg made his first soldier in the early 1970s. The uniforms are meticulously detailed, and are based on extensive research to ensure accuracy in detail and colour. Reg Copeman, who lives in the nearby town of Denmark, wished to keep the Collection together, and donated it to the Recollections of War where it is displayed in a purpose-built cabinet.
