Vibrant community art space

Carnamah is home to a group of people who describe themselves as ‘can-do go-getters’, and who have formed the not-for-profit North Midlands Project. Their aim is to help regional Western Australia become known for its happy, healthy communities and vibrant, connected towns.  As part of their work delivering arts, culture, history and heritage activities across the region, the Project has acquired a historic former Carnamah bank as its headquarters and site of its art gallery space. Here, and at The Exchange next door, you’ll find artwork from people across the North Midlands as well as artists in residence - both local, national and international.
