Brookton Museum and Heritage Centre

Former Police Station & Quarters, now the Brookton Museum & Heritage Centre

This is an inviting old Police Station and residence, and a collection which engages visitors with the history of Brookton, its people, its environment and its history. The display changes each year: currently, visitors are greeted at the entrance with a display honouring the town’s much loved Choral Society. The Family Room tells stories about the families of Brookton. The Museum’s extensive archive augments the family information displayed. The Museum and Heritage Centre encourages budding genealogists to seek information, so if you have family connections with the Brookton area, this is the place to go to find out more.
