This minimalist abstract oil painting by Smith (b. 1971), an esteemed Western Australian artist, won the City of Albany Art Prize in 2012. As the winning painting, it became part of the City’s art collection. This national prize for painting ran for ten years, and as a result, the Collection now includes stunning art by painters of note from around Australia.
